Sometime I wonder, how long the politicians, can continue to fool the people of our country and still get away with it. The only solace I get is when I read occasionally in the newspapers and on the Internet that the courts, though slowly, are taking all of them by the horns slowly and getting them caged.
Jaganmohan Reddy, son of late YSR Reddy of AP is the latest to fall in the grip of the law enforcing agencies. Yedyurappa, former CM of Karnataka is getting ready to count the bars of the Parappana Agrahara jail in Bangalore, having been indicted in land grabbing, mining scam and most recently as yesterday, in a case involving award of building control in the Upper Tungabhadra dam project to a blacklisted firm by taking favours for his son.
One can fool the law once, but these people take it for granted that they can continue doing this for all time. It is very strange to see how at the end, they get caught and are exposed in front of the same people who elected them to power. Party affiliations rarely matter then, as there is a limit to how long the party can carry liabilities and bad baggage.
Is it a demonstration of their low IQ to the public ?

Anonymous no more .. Face recognition s/w on the internet ..
http://www.economist.com/node/21524829

IF YOUR face and name are anywhere on the web, you may be recognised whenever you walk the streets—not just by cops but by any geek with a computer. That seems to be the conclusion from some new research on the limits of privacy. - unquote
If any photo of yours is on the net somewhere, the chances that you will be recognised anywhere in the world is very high, thanks, intrusively, to the face recognition s/w on the web.

Bangalore Land mafia finds comfort in jail ..
Ex-minister in the Yedyurappa cabinet and his closest colleague and chum-in-arms in the land grabbing deal, Katta Subramania Naidu and his son Jagdish find themselves landed in jail in a land deal where poor farmers were robbed of about hundreds of acres of fertile land in the name of setting up an IT estate.
Though powerful with muscle power of the locals of Hebbal and the party bigwigs in Karnataka, the order from the Lokayuktha court came as a stern warning to the politicians of Karnataka, corrupt officials and the real estate hungry population, that their days are numbered..
Next in line is the former CMs to adorn the cells of Parappana Agrahara jail, which is to come soon ..
A news doing rounds in Bangalore is that the new CM is thinking of making this jailed ex-minister the new Hon. Minister in charge of prisons.
Our politicians excel in whatever they do, very true ..!

The caged pharaoh ..
Nobody ever thought such a fate would befall a dictator, Hosni Mubarak, who ruled over Egypt for well over 3 decades.
This is an example of what would befall to dictators, despots and autocrats of the world ..
