hello aravind.
ReplyDeletewe have not yet thought of it. it is a pain rearing up pups and finding some buyers etc.
Silky was purchased froma breeder in Kozhikode Kerala for rs 3000 in 2006 sept when she was 1 month old.
since we were travelling we did not collect her pedigree papers etc.. will it be a problem to sel the pups then ??
regards..
Hi George,
ReplyDeleteWhile i agree there could be some trouble with gestation and time with pups after that. I come from the thought of giving our dear pets a wholesome life.
So, although i have Milo (the male lab) i adopted a female tibetan mastiff recently (she's 6 months now) and think it will be worthwhile to go through foster parenting pups atleast once.
Finding buyers these days is reasonably easy, classifieds like 'locanto', 'kijiji', 'click' provide for a convenient forum to find good homes. I donot have papers for Milo either, but he is healthy, obedient and of good size. If you choose to sell the pups, then pups with papers sell upwards of 5K (typically) and others between 3-4K (we still do have an option from KCI of getting them certified as 'unknown' parentage)
Its the ideal age for Silky and this is the heat season now. So it would be very nice if something can be worked out for both of them. Please give it a thought and let me know. Since you got Silky for Kozhikode, i can be quiet sure it will be sufficiently genetically diverse :) (btw i grew up in Palakkad before moving back to Bangalore)
Cheers
Aravind
george you are like the older son in the story of the lost son , who is after rules and regulations and cannot accept the repentance of the younger brother or the outrageous love of the father for his children.
ReplyDeleteMata/ saibaba followers will cut you off if you had not apologized and at the same time you know very well that born again christians about whom you have a low opinion will leave the battle to the lord.bro i have been to the heavenly feast kottayam and i dont see anything wrong there. they teach the bible in depth and they teach about the kingdom of God and Jesus. After the recent false accusations made by the media , now there is no place in the two acre tent in kottayam, because the people who received happiness , joy, peace and everything Christ stands for will not go back to the fozzilzed churches. Have u heard the news of the orthodox achan who has been arrested? well, do you find believers writing blogs against achans calling them kalla achans and other choicest names like u do infalming everyone and trying to put people down . NO thats the difference between a believer and holy holy guy like you..years back you would have been termed a pharisee.Let me tell you grace is free and you cannot buy your way to it.Your article about tying cradles around the cross in someplace to get children, shows your utter lack of knowledge about the bible.Jesus came , so that all sacrifices can be done away with.. Cutting and pasting from the Bible, any one can do..but look into the meaning.Let me tell you again brother dont do this , you are hurting the feelings of many people who received Christ in their lives.it could turn out to be a curse on your life..curse and ungrace can carry on for generations..dont bring the wrath of God on yourself and your generations. DO you honestly think that people pray to Thangu brother? He is a man of God who shows people the way to reach out to Jesus and receive Jesus in their lives.Do you think all the 30 or 40 thousand people who gather there in kottayam are idiots? Do you think that the teachings in the heavenly feast are only about hearing what you like to hear? well you are mistaken brother..The truth is taught there and the truth sets you free..come on a day for the worship , come with a camcorder and record the meetings and record for yourself what happens there..Do you know that a christian is bound to follow rules of a land? well the google blog terms and conditions say that articles meant to hurt the feelings of a group of people or meant to tarnish the image of people is not allowed. So you are calling yourself a lover of mankind and sign off with malice towrads none and do exactly the opposite. Brother you are being reported to the blog administrators for misuse . well that is no big deal i guess. But the wrath of God is a big deal.Stop this while you can , take it as an advice..up there there is no orthodox church , catholic church, CSI church or Believers church..read the bible in depth and try to understand more about it.It will help you and your ravings ,self deception and utter lack of love for people will all go away and you will find life so simple and fun to live..
