Bloom and energy ..

Since 2008 Bloom has produced about 11 million KW of electricity, resulting in 14 million pounds reduction in CO2 emissions. This is equivalent to planting one million trees and the electricity can power 1000 average US homes for a year.

Each energy server can generate 100 kW, which is enough electricity for a small office building or 100 average U.S. homes, and will cost $700,000-800,000, plus fuel. Bloom said customers can expect payback from energy savings in three to five years.
