The rift between the Orthodox and Jacobite believers in the Kerala church has caused lot of pain to the practitioners of the faith. Only a consensus will work, that is what a section of the believers say. No force or litigation can solve such issues.

True spirit of christian principles gets thrown out of the window the moment something happens which one perceives as injustice towards ones own group ..Contrary to the Supreme Court's judgement , why not the Malankara church let go the disputed church to Jacobites..One less church is not going to make any difference to the Malankara sect. It will probably decrease the animosity between the two groups.
ReplyDeleteI fully agree with you Sunny. Our priests constantly talk of forgiveness, for believers, not seven but seventy times. We should practice forgiveness not only in our personal lives, but in our church activities too.
