Don Moen in Bangalore on 28 Jan ..

Don moen the reputed gospel singer with great international following will be in Bangalore on 28 January 2012 and will be singing at the St Josephs College of Arts and Science in Shanti Nagar, Bangalore from 5.30 PM to 7.30 PM.

My neice Rachel Philip will also be a member of the choir accompanying Don Moen in Bangalore. all four of us will be there at the site to hear Don Moen and his group of singers LIVE .....

Pak Premier Gilani's fitting reply to the Generals ..

It was very heartening to read of the Pak Premier Gilani's reply to the Army generals who wanted a withdrawal or apology from Gilani into his remarks on Osama Bin Laden being traced in Pakistan with the knowledge of the Pak Military and Intelligence who was killed by US.

It was indeed a very bold statement from Gilani which is sure to enrage the army and ISI. India being a democractic country which believes in the supremacy of legislature over military and Intelligence organisations, this statement is a welcome departure from earlier politicians who have always toed the military and intelligence lines on all such issues.

India fully supports Pakistan in its PM's efforts to stress on the supremacy of the people over the military. Kudos to Gilani .. He is doing these actions at great threat to his own seat.

Asianet is telecasting a reality show. How can that be business ?? Viewers look for something sensational and out of the world..

Manorama is closely following with indian Voice, equally talented students there also, though the judges are not as heavy weight as in Idea Star Singer on Asianet .

But in totality the healthy competition between Asianet and Mazhavillu Manorama is very good for the Malayalam budding singers ( there is another equally good show on Kairali TV too). The opportunities and exposure these young talents get is simply mind boggling and out of this world..

And we viewers get to hear the oldies and new malayalam numbers again and again .. The general appreciation and understanding of the public to understand good singing has improved no doubt..
