Australian cartoon belittling Indian contribution to global solar energy ..

The cartoon by Bill Leak in The Australian of 14 Dec, depicting India as not being competent to use solar energy and would rather eat it than use it shows the fanatically racial mindset of the Australians.

How ignorant of them when India has already put up the first international airport in the world at Kochi, Kerala on solar energy six months back, when the so called developed nations are learning their first steps on solar energy applications.

It is very difficult for the migrant descendants of criminals and sexual offenders from Britain to think clearly !

It has demoralised the already large immigrant Indian community to know that they are being looked down and racially abused by the dominant immigrant community of British criminal settlers.

The whole world knows who will very soon have the last laugh ! Be patient and have loads of understanding for these intellectually challenged people !!

Preventing type 2 diabetes ..

In India we find diseases are basically caused due to

1. genetic traits,
2. atmospheric and other pollution effects,
3. Lifestyle diseases - excess of foods containing fats, carbohydrates, sugar etc or not having the right combination of components of food and finally
4. scarcity of food resulting in stunted growth, deficiency of vitamins, proteins, carbohydrates, fats etc.

Diabetes, type 2 is basically a life styl;e disease. the health condition where insulin hormone from pancreas becomes ineffective in controlling blood sugar levels, leading to grave health complications.

When this insulin deficiency happens due to pancreas being under attack by immune system, it is type I diabetes, could be of genetic nature (reason 1).

When the pancreatic ineffectiveness in generating insulin happens due to a sedentary lifestyle and eating red meat, processed foods, smoking, drinking etc, the result is type II diabetes, (reason 3)

Diabetes is a very grave health hazard affecting developed and developing economies in a big way.

Enough exercises like walking for min 30 mins a day, more active lifestyle, diet-wise - low fat, less red meat, less sugary, less processed food diet, is a sure shot way to beat this great calamity staring at mankind.

The five word mantra to ward off diabetes ..

"Stay lean and stay active"

Climate change, COP21 and global response ..

The world's second biggest polluter is getting ready to fool the people of the world yet again on the Paris climate treaty !!

Why is it that US wishes to dictate to others but does want to follow common global good, strive to limit global heating to less than 2deg Celsius, (1.5 deg to be exact ) ??

Can it be attributed to the insensible Congressmen who would never ratify it ?

All the earlier climate açcords have failed as the greatest polluter bullied around, not being a signatory or failing to ratify. What a sad state of affairs for the world !

Some countries prefer to be true to their real nature,  selfish to the core .. God bless the world !

Incidence of Cancer and implications of moving to a high HDI country ..

We all know how damaging is cancer in our society. 

Going back to statistics, in high HDI countries, (human development index) cancer mortality for males is 132 per 100,000 compared to 87 in low HDI countries, while for females it is fixed at 86-87 per 100,000 for both high and low HDI countries..

Ie. if a male migrates from India or other low HDI country to a developed country, he is at 57 % higher risk of contracting cancer, while it does not make any difference in females.

Whether it is low awareness, misinformed craze for a materialistic life or a care-free attitude, such cases abound in our society !

Having to live in constant fear is actually a curse !!

And finally it is the greatest disservice you can do to your future generations, make them lose their unique culturally rich identity and incapacitate them for generations !!

What a shame !!

LISA PATHFINDER and gravity wave astronomy .

European Space Agency's LISA (laser interferometer space antenna) pathfinder to study gravity-wave astronomy as diff from electromagnetic-wave astronomy we know of so far, is a great step forward in science. 

The probe launched deep in space (see pic)  contains two chambers each having a cube of gold platinum alloy,  motionless, waiting to be disturbed by the faintest gravity waves from distant black holes. 

The existence of gravity waves will radically change our understanding of the vast and unknown universe.
