The three great political and social leaders of Kerala (Thirukochi) during the time of freedom-struggle and formation of the Indian Union are as below.

These leaders led the freedom movement among many others and were active in political life till the addition of Malabar under the states re-organisation and the formal christening by the name Kerala.

These leaders  were impeccable in their value systems, life, principles and ideals which they upheld during their life time.

T. M. Varghese, (April 22, 1886 - Dec 31, 1961) my maternal uncle, was the first home minister of Kerala under the Chief Ministership of Pattom Thanu Pillai. He died about three years before I was born ..
