Singapore , presently #2 container handling seaport globally, through the Tuas port, to be completed in 2040, covering 3304 acres, is planning to be #1 globally.
With 66 berths, 26 km quay and digital Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) and smart operations across the port with digital twin / simulation support planning, it is also planning to be net zero emissions port by 2050.
Vizhinjam, the deepest port in the world, in comparison is 5 berths and 2 km quay and planning 5.8 million TEU handling by 2028. With proper guidance and political leadership Vizhinjam can become #1 global port as it is on the East West international shipping lane. 🙏🙏👍
