Delhi, the crime and rape capital of the country ??

Figures released by the National Crime Records Bureau show that Delhi reported 404 out of 1,696 rapes; 1,379 out of total 3,544 cases of kidnapping of women and 491 out of 3,477 cases of molestation in 2009.

The city where the government is pouring maximum money by way of central government expenditure, hospitality, governance, holding sports and cultural extravaganzas and the like, pampered like anything, is also the most spoilt, deviant and corrupt of all Indian cities..

Thank God, we are not living in Delhi, the rape capital of the country ..!!

ഒരു ലക്ഷം രൂപ സംഭാവന കൊടുക്കുന്ന പോലെയല്ല ഒരു കിഡ്നി മുറിച്ചെടുത്തു കൊടുക്കുന്നത്. അഞ്ഞൂറ് കോടി വിറ്റുവരവുള്ള ഒരു വ്യവസായ ശൃംഖലയുടെ ഉടമയായിരിക്കെ കൊച്ചൌസേപ്പ് ചിറ്റിലപ്പിള്ളി തന്റെ വൃക്ക ദാനം ചെയ്യാന്‍ തീരുമാനിച്ചത് ഈ പുതുവര്‍ഷം കൊണ്ടുവന്ന വാര്‍ത്തകളില്‍ ഏറ്റവും ഹൃദയാവര്‍ജകമായ ഒന്നാണ്. പണത്തിനു വേണ്ടി വൃക്ക വില്‍ക്കുന്നവര്‍ ഉണ്ടാകാം. ജീവിക്കുന്ന ചുറ്റുപാടുകള്‍ ആണ് പലരെയും അതിന്  പ്രേരിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്. ജീവിതം മുന്നോട്ടു നീക്കുവാന്‍ മറ്റൊരു വഴിയും ഇല്ലാതെയിരിക്കുമ്പോള്‍ ശരീരം മുറിച്ചു കൊടുക്കാന്‍ ഒരു മനുഷ്യര്‍ തയ്യാറാവുന്നുവെങ്കില്‍ അതയാളുടെ  നിസ്സഹായതയുടെ അവസാന വിളംബരമാണ്. എന്നാല്‍ അഞ്ഞൂറ് കോടി വിറ്റുവരവുള്ള ഒരു മനുഷ്യന്‍ അതിനു തയ്യാറാവുന്നുവെങ്കില്‍ അതിനെയാണ് നാം മനുഷ്യസ്നേഹം എന്ന് വിളിക്കേണ്ടത്.

Rs. 70,000,000,000,000 illegal money stashed away in Swiss Bank accounts ..

The Congress Party's reaction that the money stashed away is just money on which tax has not been paid and measures are on to recover tax for that money from the owners ( in this case of the 18 Indian accounts holding Rs 44 crores in the German bank of Leichstenstein with tax arrears of 25 crores) will not hold well with the citizens of the country.

The true fact is that the money is illegal money, plundered from the national treasury, the poor man's money, which is stolen by the so called respectable citizens of the country. They should be treated like criminals and handed the most exemplary punishment possible so that they do not resort to such gimmicks again in future, even if it includes respectable politicians, dead or living of the ruling or opposition parties, bureaucrats and industrialists ..

National wealth stashed away by influential and corrupt Indians in accounts abroad amount to roughly Rs. 20 lakh crores to 70 lakh crores ( a lakh is a hundred thousands and a crore is a hundred lakhs) ie. Rs. 70,000,000,000,000, 7 followed by thirteen zeros !!!!!!!!!! It could well pay off our national debt and pay for all infrastructural projects of the country for the coming many years ..

Political parties are indeed raking up the issue which is good for the country and the economy. Dr  Manmohan Singh will be doing the country great service through his transparency moves, which no other goverment has done before, by exposing the corrupt who have stashed away their ill-gotten wealth abroad. Even the present opposition while in power, never pursued the matter of tracking out the corrupt and their ill-wealth, with all the seriousness and sincerity it deserves.

Jairam Ramesh, the Minister of Environment and Forests has declared the LAVASA housing project near Pune as unauthorised. The stinking rich are using real estate projets as an excuse to park their dirty funds. Dumbos among them have been investing in projects like Adarsh Housing society in Colaba and Lavasa near Pune. Much to their chagrin they have found a politician, deviation from the usual corrupt, a rare commodity, who does not give into money, power and influence. A very welcome signal in the Indian political scenario.

Two days back he stated that the Adarsh building, the 32 floor unauthorised structure that has come up in Colaba on naval grounds violating all environmental and security norms should be pulled down. It is followed today by his declaration that HCC sponsored LAVASA housing project near Pune is another unauthorised one. The dirty rich and the crooked politicians are finding this minister to be slightly inconvenient for them.

But I should say that the whole country and its sensible people are behind him as they know he can never go wrong with his very advanced understanding and analysis of events and implementation of remedies as enshrined in the Indian constitution benefitting the common man and the government.

How else can an IIT Bombay BTech with advanced degrees from Carnegie Melon and MIT go wrong ? The nation has a lot to learn from him ..

70 lakh crores of Indian black money stashed abroad ?

The figure is mind-boggling. I do not know what is preventing the government from recovering this black money robbed from the poor man in India and taken by the spineless rich, corrupt businessmen, politicians and bureaucrats to safe havens abroad.
