Silk route, 200 BC and Information Route 2000 AD .

The red route is the land route and blue, the sea route..

Interesting to know the parts of the world which had some semblance of trade and development were in Asia, North  and East of Africa and South Europe, around 200 BC.

Extending for 6500 kms and spread over the Eurasian African landmass, the route was the main trade route for all goods and cultural trade in the ancient world .. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silk_Road

Now the silk route has given way to the Information Route which centres around America-Europe and Asia .. If silk was the catalyst for earliest trade in the world, modern day trade is centred around Information.

Adarsh effect, Mantralaya in Mumbai at a standstill ..

yesterday was a great day in Indian legal circles and in the fight against corruption at high places .. The common man finally feels something is happening to save selfish people from raping his country ..

http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/city/mumbai/Adarsh-effect-Mantralaya-at-a-standstill/articleshow/12540651.cms

With 2 senior IAS officers, Phatak and retired IAS officer Tiwari, being arrested by CBI and in police custody till April 18, all corrupt IAS officers are shivering down their spines and shitting in their pants.. Hope they will mend their wayward ways.. Citizens have started questioning your irresponsible actions and orders .. The free, arbitrary and corrupt orders they used to pass against the interest of the citizen and against good governance, will now be reverted.

http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/india/Adarsh-scam-Bail-plea-of-seven-accused-rejected/articleshow/12534734.cms

The CBI which was under pressure to dilly dally the case and let the influential bigwigs scape had to hurry with the proceedings when mumbai High Court asked the CBI to report to it regarding the progress in the case. It shows how CBI is also influenced in this case. Instead of doing their job forthright without any fear or favour, they are  misleading the court and the citizens of the country.

With two retd Major Gen and a retired Brigadier in judicial custody along with these two very senior IAS babus in CBI custody, whose sons were allocated flats in the Adarsh complex, the noose is tightening. Even though everyone is passing the buck on the other, the army and naval officers on the govt, IAS officers on the govt, the govt on the IAS officers and the navy, the plot is getting clearer day by day. Whoever have managed to get a flat either free or  at a low cost in the Adarsh complex meant for Kargil war widows, cannot run away from complicity in this case..

Finally truth will chase the accused .. Let this be a warning from the people and the CBI to all corrupt Babus, you and your family members will not be left free, we will trace you to your grave.. Beware .. Really feeling good for Jairam Ramesh, the former Minister in charge who had threatened that he would demolish Adarsh complex, were it not for him acting freely, also thanks to Dr Manmohan Singh for giving a free hand to the CBI, this case would not have come to this stage.. The fight against corruption and greed of the corrupt high officials and politicians in this country is a continuing affair, never ending, with new scams surfacing daily..

Will our people never learn to think kind and considerate of the society and his fellow beings , fortunate and less fortunate ..?? Why is it that in spite of being a so called highly spiritual country with loads of legacy and culture of thousands of years, we are still the most selfish, greedy community in the world ?

How the East is now looting the west ..

http://articles.economictimes.indiatimes.com/2012-04-03/news/31281572_1_cyber-security-cyber-attacks-cyber-espionage

US and is colonial cousins have come to understand the repurcussions of their past actions where they have robbed countries of Asia and the East of their traditional knowledge and treasures.

This action is just tit for tat .. Newtons third law, every action has an equal and opposite reaction..

The battle is now not between armies and navies of countries, not of how much air power one can boast of .. it is between the brains of countries.. It is soft battle and not hard battle..

Let US realise this truth and tighten up its waist and do something to prevent this reverse flow of knowledge and wealth  ( ALSO OF PROFESSIONALS WITH NO SELF RESPECT AND LOVE FOR THEIR HOMELAND..!!).

It will help prevent any furtherloot of the East by the Westa and vice-versa ..

The Parsi Tower of Silence in Mumbai, Malabar Hills ..

The evening of 30 March 2012, got me, Anila and Chinnu with my sister Alice going downhill from Malabar Hill. We passed the hanging gardens which has a huge water tank underneath it and then on the left hand side of the road there was sort of a forest. On enquiry I was told that it was the Parsis' burial place, the twoer of silence. Malabar Hills is already one of the most expensive real estate in the world and at that place to have a 55 acre plot of land to take care of the dead among the Parsis was a very humbling experience.
We could see vultures and eagles hovering around in the air and when I enquired I was told that they were feeding on corpses kept inside the tower of silence.  That is how the Parsis bury their dead, feed them to the vultures - whatever has come from the earth, should go back to the earth. To realise that our greatest business barons of the country Tatas, Wadias, Godrejs etc.. will all have such an experience was in itself so humbling ..
Quote : Mumbai has the distinction of having the greatest number of the followers of the Prophet Zarathushtra of Iran.  Parsees in Mumbai descend from a group of Persian Zoroastrians who immigrated to South Asia during 8th century AD to escape persecution in Iran. Over the centuries, the Parsees have integrated themselves into Indian society while simultaneously maintaining their own ethnic identity.
Parsees don't burn or bury their dead; they want humans to be of use even after death. So they feed their dead to the eagles and vultures and not defile air, water or soil by cremation or burial. You can see the Zoroastrian funerary towers called the Parsee Bawdi or the 'Tower of Silence' on an expansive 55 acres of land on top of Malabar hills. This has a well-like, big circular structure called Dakhma / Dokhma where corpses are placed to be eaten by vultures.
The grounds contain five towers, three of which are reserved for public use, one is kept exclusively for suicides and criminals, and one for the descendants of Modi Hizi Wachha, one of the earliest Parsi settlers who built the towers in 1672. Only the white clad Nasaslars who perform the last rites are allowed inside the tower. All around the parapets and on the trees the vultures wait and watch.
No aeroplanes are allowed to fly over towers of silence, perhaps to avoid hitting the vultures. Once the bones have been bleached by the sun and wind, they are thrown into the ossuary pit at the center of the tower. : unquote
(Excuse me,  respecting the sentiments of people who have left us, I am taking out the snap of the inside view of the tower of silence, Mumbai)

Malabar Hills is the most expensive real estate in the world ..  The worth of 55 acre of prime property in Mumbai Malabar Hills area is unimaginable. Malabar Hills is also the country's most guarded area too ..  It is the residence of the Governor and Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Governor of the Reserve Bank, Chairman of State Bank of India, UBI etc..

It is said that the entire Malabar Hills was owned by a Keralite Malabari muslim family, Keyi, Chovvakkaaran Moosa who finally gave it to the British at the beginning of the 19th century to protect his trading rights in Malabar, Kerala.

Could be worth thousands of thousands of crores .. It is the history and culture that is priceless ..

If Ravi Rishi sings, skeletons could tumble out , the Tatra truck deal ..

Earlier Gen V K Singh, the to be retiring Chief of Army staff fired a salvo at Defence Minister saying that in spite of India being the no.1 arms importer in the world, with deals of almost $ 20 billion in the offing, India's defence is very weak and is just 3% safe .. The defence Minister immediately instructed the Defence Ministry to see that all officers right from Chief to anyone who matters be held responsible for delays and inefficiencies in defence procurement.

This way a big leak happening thru the defence officers who were just interested in eating from the funds but were not held responsible for any lapses and wrongdoings was immediately plugged. The yapping Gen V K Singh will now be more careful when he opens his mouth the next time.

The Tatra trucks deal is another huge embarrassment for the Army. When there is very clearly laid down instruction that no middle men should be involved in any defence purchases, how come BEML contacted Ravi Rishi of Vectra Holdings, instead of Tatra trucks itself for the procurement worth crores of rupees. It was in this context that a parasite by name Lt Gen Tejinder Singh contacted Gen V K Singh last year with a Rs 14 crore bribe to clear the Tatra truck deal. Why did Gen Singh keep mum then ? To protect his corrupt army generals ?

Tatra T815 Kolos

The other image shows a BEML procured Tatra truck moving along Koramangala roads in bangalore two days back..

Most of the defence personnel are above greed and corruption, ready to give their lives for the country.

But a handful, are waiting like wolves, in their greed for money to even give their country up ..
