iGate buys granddad of Indian IT, Patni ..

It is finally out, $300 million iGate will bid for Patni Computer Systems , the grand dad of Indian IT in a $1.2 billion deal. A David hitting Goliath deal.

It is more of a revenge deal as Phaneesh "the other Murthy" iGate CEO, (IITM, IIMA ), is buying the same company where Infy promoters worked as a team before quitting and starting Infosys.
