Oh .. and finally Kochi Metro on track ..!!

The 25 km stretch from Aluva via MG Road to Pettah, Tripunithara is definitely a blessing for we kochikkar .. Though conservative estimates say it will take 4 years, under E. Sridharan, Oommen Chandy is optimistic of completing within 36 months and within the Rs 5200 crores estimates..

Are any of the project planners / implementers certified by Project Management Institute ? Will a PMP ( Project Management Professional ) certification be helpful to see that this project will get over well within the time and cost estimates ..

Under Elattuvalappil Sreedharan's direction, nobody need worry, but still, age is taking a toll on him as at 80 years are we right to expect him to see the project through unscathed ? is there any problem in being forewarned ?

Shouldn't professionalism percolate to the bottom line, else a project of such massive investment and prestige should not go down the drain .. The funding pattern appears to be very clear .. Rs 1000 crore from Central govt, Rs 2000 crore from State govt and Rs 2200 from Japan International Co-operation Agency.

Let PMP certification be made mandatory for Projects of this size and investment ..

Now it is easy for everybody from Aluva to Vytilla to easily reach Charles' house in Tripunithara within 40 minutes .. Otherwise it used to take 2 hours ..
